If you were a pedophile, you would've found out while going through puberty. It also does not mean you would abuse a child if you were a pedophile. Take it from me.
Yes, I have to admit the attraction was always there growing up as a child, but I refused to admit that to myself since the word "pedophile" has the misconception of being associated with child molesters and rapists. Prison gave me time to look up the real definition of the word and realized that I do fall under that definition. Prison didn't break me of this attraction, but only let me come to terms with it and accept it. Thank you for your comment and insight.
