Stumbled across this video today and it really hit me hard.
Having to go back to prison over a matter of my own drawings was very unconstitutional and I feel that if I keep voicing out the government's systematic push toward implementing an authoritarian system, my next stint in prison might be at one of these facilities. But this injustice is only allowed to happen because no one knows it's happening.
As someone labeled an ex-felon I feel disenfranchised and for the most part my words fall on deaf ears when I reach out to law firms and advocacy groups telling them of how my first amendment rights are being violated, but since I'm labeled a sex offender it seems none of these groups are willing to help. My only hope is to continue reaching out to the general public and make you aware that you too aren't far from having your rights stripped away for nothing more than an erroneous supposition of guilt.
It's up to me to argue for my rights and some time soon I may continue drawing obscenity even if I risk further imprisonment because no one else is going to fight for me. So all I have to do is keep drawing and all you have to do is keep watching and know that what happens to me can very easily happen to you or your loved ones, because they've already threatened my family.
So pay attention and be prepared to point out injustice when you see it. It's time we begin to hold all those working in government accountable for their unjustified actions by stripping them of the impunity they have rewarded themselves.
We don't tolerate terrorism from foreign threats so why do we accept it from our own government? Let's become aware and see what we can do to change that for true liberty and true justice for all.
This is a Kickstarter project I was commissioned to do. It's a pretty interested story and it sounds like it would be pretty fun to produce. Check it out and think about contributing.
