Hey there people.
The messenger here to say we were not posting as much as before because we were going through a few bumps in the road. Saying bumps I mean hills!
Exactly 2 weeks ago shit was hitting the fan left and right. First the pipes above our bathroom burst causing water to pour through the drywall and vents in our ceiling. Then the following day our motherboard in the pc tower got fried (it was about a decade old).
So calling in the plumber on a Saturday to check out the damage for the pipe burst, then Sunday calling in a Tech company to take our tower, we were stuck. The water damage was not our fault so we didn't have to pay anything while the repair company came in to fix the drywall and paint...then clean the water damage to the carpet. But with the tech company, we had to pay for the motherboard and labor so that took a huge chunk from our savings. And I mean almost everything we had! (Leaving us $12 and some change)
So with repair men walking back and forth for about 4 days straight we also didn't have our computer up and running. We were basically sitting ducks with not much to do. While JB was drawing up a storm I had to go out and make money with side gigs. No matter what we did, our once promising bank account had almost enough to cover our bills...but after our circumstances, now keeping up with so much is looking bleak.
Now with a nice new face lift in our bathroom and our computer back and running we are playing a game of catch up and keep up. Catching up is the hard part.
JB is working on commissions, sketches and auctions...while I continue doing what I can with my side gigs, studying and my own commissions.
We are posting this news so people know our situation. With rent coming up, we are in a bind and reaching out. We would appreciate anyone willing to help with donations.
